What a great find! I was so excited to find this set of six Glidden Pottery plates featuring adorable mid century style animal motifs. Each illustration depicts a different creature; giraffe, hippo, bull, lion, rooster and horse (or donkey). These plates are on a smaller side, measuring about 5 1/2" across, perfect for appetizers or desserts. The background glaze looks like majolica style glaze and designs are fluid and beautifully stylized. The underside of these plates is left unglazed.<br><br>All plates are in good but not excellent condition. There are no structural issues such as chips or cracks, but some surface wear/crazing is present.
